1997年6月26日，第一部《哈利波特》小说出版。到今年的6月26日，已经20年了。

《伏地魔：传人的起源》
它是一部非官方、由粉丝制作的《哈利波特》系列相关前传电影。

据说其预告片（teaser trailer）在2天内就有超过3000万的点击量。
《伏地魔：传人的起源》早在2016年初就开始制作了，制片人当时是受图书《哈利·波特与混血王子》的启发，看完书后哈利波特在线他们就思考——到底是什么促使里德尔最后变成了伏地魔。
Voldemort: Origins of the Heirhas been in the works since early 2016, when itsfilmmakers were inspired after re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, leading them to wonder about what drove Riddle to become Voldemort.
这部电影就讲述了汤姆·里德尔逐渐成长为“魔头”的故事，试图从心理层面展示汤姆·里德尔变成伏地魔的原因。原著中的一些线索并没有完全在《哈利波特》系列电影中演出来，有很多还不为人所知。
The movie depicts the story of Tom Riddle's rise to power, with the intention to show the psychological aspect of Tom Riddle before he became known as Voldemort. There are some clues in the books which have not been transposed at all in the movies, but a lot goes unspoken.

电影刚开始是通过众筹获取制作资金（financed through a crowdfunding campaign）。后来华纳兄弟（Warner Bros）和他们打过官司，因为电影中的一些元素侵犯了华纳以及原书作者的版权。因此，众筹就停止了。不过，后期他们和华纳达成一致协议，电影不能用于商业盈利，只能作为一部粉丝制作的专业电影。
可以说，正是因为华纳兄弟或者J.K.罗琳都未参与这部电影的制作，该电影团队将会特别小心谨慎，尽量不使用《哈利波特》系列电影中的一些元素，以防侵权。

该电影主创是Gianmaria Pezzato（导演）和Stefano Prestia（制片人），他们以独立电影制作工作室Tryangle Films的名义制作这部电影。
